Making Paper Aeroplanes
Designing paper aeroplanes was an outcome of our learning about aerodynamics. Some were clearly well designed, others were not so. This is a place to comment about what we learnt from this experience.

Introductory Powerpoint for Aboriginal History
As a class we viewed and discussed a powerpoint about basic Aboriginal history. We learnt lots of new information about this, and were able to reflect on what we knew.

Canada asks 'Did you know?'
This short video shows Canadians being interviewed in the street about the rights and history of indigenous people in their country. There are many parallels between the way Australia and Canada treated their indigenous populations. 8H will reflect on whether the treatment of Canadian Indigenous people is fair and are we any better
Kevin Rudd says Sorry
When Kevin Rudd said 'Sorry' it was a major event in the relationship between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians. After watching his speach, 8H were asked to reflect upon their thoughts.
Blue Eyes - Brown Eyes Experiment...8H Reflects
The Blue Eyes - Brown Eyes experiment is designed to show participants and viewers how easy it is to adopt discrimination. The version of this we watched as a class focused on Australians and Aboriginal Australians.
